120109 GondwanaSound is BACK and wishing you a Happy, Prosperous and Peaceful New Year

[simplenews]

Yaayyyyy after a six month break GondwanaSound is back with cod ethno muso ramblings, mispronunciations, politics but above all news and reviews of some of the best music on the planet.

The first broadcast is Monday January 9th at 14:00 live from the studios of Sheffield Live! 93.2FM we're excited and nervous and hope that broadcasting is rather like riding a bicycle, once the skill is learnt its never forgotten. That said we'll probably have a wobbly take off, scrape our knees and I'm dreading pressing the wrong button or leaving the mic fader open before the hour is out. Read more »

29th April GondwanaSound newsletter.....here comes the bride......

[simplenews]

Hello I hope all is well in your world and that you have had a good week.

We've been spending time at GondwanaTowers thinking about redecorating and what colours to paint the walls. I quite fancy a light heather/lilac colour but have been cautioned with the words "you dare and I'll kick you out" - a tad harsh I think for such a light joyful colour that I'm quite tempted. At least we have walls to paint, I'm really shocked by the images coming in from Texas and tornado alley. Our thoughts are with people who have lost everything including their homes. Read more »

1st April and its a Roll Over......

[simplenews]

Well, I hope you've had a good week. Our car's been fixed and the dog is back from the vet albeit with her leg in a bandage and a lampshade around her neck but all in all we haven't been able to get a show together for this week. Friday mornings are prooving troublesome and we will be asking Sheffield Live for a new slot.

When would be a good time? Let us know.

Instead of this week's show you can listen to a repeat of last week's in the playlist section.
