He's been busy putting a 7 peice band together from vallenato and cumbia musicians living in his new home town of Cali in Colombia. 120109 GondwanaSound is BACK and wishing you a Happy, Prosperous and Peaceful New Year

[simplenews]

Yaayyyyy after a six month break GondwanaSound is back with cod ethno muso ramblings, mispronunciations, politics but above all news and reviews of some of the best music on the planet.

The first broadcast is Monday January 9th at 14:00 live from the studios of Sheffield Live! 93.2FM we're excited and nervous and hope that broadcasting is rather like riding a bicycle, once the skill is learnt its never forgotten. That said we'll probably have a wobbly take off, scrape our knees and I'm dreading pressing the wrong button or leaving the mic fader open before the hour is out. Read more »

29th April GondwanaSound newsletter.....here comes the bride......

At least we have walls to paint, I'm really shocked by the images coming in from Texas and tornado alley. Our thoughts are with people who have lost everything including their homes. Read more »
