Zaina Sei Wiisi Zaina Baezie is a female world music singer of the 21st century revival. A technically a creative singer / song writer with a genuinely powerful voice, she belts out her up tempo numbers on her current album "Sei Wiisi".

She was born and brough up in Northern Ghana and is currently settled in the UK. Her love for music started during her early years in school. During that time, she joined the school band and choir and went to become the lead singer. From there on, she developed a keen interest in the work of talented artists such as : Oumou Sangare of Mali - Queen of Malian music, whom she also saw as a mentor.

Zaina writes and sings in 7 languages including English. With her natural voice and talent, both as a composer and lyricist she was destined to have a career in music. She may be described as a new comer in the music industry, but has been making music since her youth.

A singing sensation, whose capabilities are beyond description, she has the indigenous Northern Ghanaian vibes which are used in her current album 'Sei Wiisi' featuring 10 original tracks.

Her songs talk about: poverty, humanity, devotions, peace, rituals and love. Her alternative style in world music is rich in different influences with a strong Arabic feel combined with her indigenous Northern Ghanaian feel, making her creations distinctive and unique.
