Taking their name from the John Coltraine Album, A Love Supreme is brought to you by the same team that brought you Live @ 215. Their aim is to utilise the resources developed over the years and bring together musicians
for one-off events, raising money for charitable causes around the world. Read more details in the full article.
Michael Tinker says that, "We're keen to use the resources that we have here to raise money and awareness for those who have little or no resources because of natural, or man-made disasters. We have a strong network of musicians from all sorts of backgrounds around Sheffield, and so our aim is to bring them together to put on evenings of great music, in order to raise money for those in need."
The first event will take place THIS SATURDAY.
Doors open 7.30pm, door entry is £4 and all of it is going to support relief efforts in Chile in the aftermath of the earthquake.
No puddings will be served, and the first drink is free (after that there will be a small charge).
Line-up is:
7.45pm Carl 'on fire' Watkins
8.30pm Michael Tinker featuring Barrie Haigh
9.15pm Tim Wakefield
10pm Carl Woodford
We hope you can join in the event and support the people of Chile and let others know about what's happening.
