News in from Belinda O'Hooley : Rehearsals have started for our tour with the fabulously talented Jackie Oates and her musical partner James Dumbelton. For those of you who haven’t heard of Jackie, she was a founder member alongside me of Rachel Unthank & the Winterset.

Her singing & viola playing are much evident in the debut album; “Cruel Sister”. Jackie’s arranging talents also contributed to the Mercury nominated album “The Bairns” and she has since moved on to concentrate on a very successful solo career. Her albums “Jackie Oates” and “The Violet Hour” have received much critical acclaim and she & James have very kindly agreed to tour with us in November which I am very excited about. We will be performing separately and together on stage and we think you’re in for a real treat so please come and support us.
