Jill Turner had the pleasure of meeting and talking with Costica "Cimai" Trifan and Radalescu Lazar, two members of the mighty speed brass band, Fanfare Ciocarlia from Zece Prajini in Romania.

Fanfare Ciocarlia had come to play their unique style of speed brass at Manchester's Royal College of Music as part of a brass festival alongside Northern Colliery and Community brass bands. Thanks to Henry Ernst form their record label Asphalt Tango who offered his translation services. Cimai and Radalescu speak Roma and you will hear Henry's voice translating for us.
