Album of the week : Jah Wobble and the Chinese Dub Orchestra - Chinese Dub on 30 Hertz Records

Hello, well I hope I have managed to get the balance of new music and spirited tunes at a time when many people are experiencing pain and sorrow.

We have new music from, Checkpoint 303, Archinta, from a fab little comp from Trikont entitled Roll Your Moneymaker and our album of the week comes from Mr Wobble and his Missus, who together have created the new genre of Chinese Dub.

Thanks to DJ Andy Healey of Africabeat for the tip, we're still with global groovers, our music blog of the month, tip, its a real treasure trove of out of print vinyl from the 70's and eighties on labels such as Egrem, Asonia, Sylart, Son Afric, Fania. There'll be a few gems on the show.

There's also music from Marwash, Reem Kelani, Manu Chao, Lee Scratch Perry, Franco, Johny Guitar Watson, Chuck Berry, Chumbawumba, Blue Blokes 3, Chumbawumba and Toumani Diabete. How varied can you go......
