Album of the Week : Coba Coba from Novalima on Cumbancha

We continue to mine the seams of our music blog of the month, Global Grooves and bring you some vintage vinyl from Sugar Belly Combo and Empire Bekuba DU Grand Kalle amogst others. There's new releases from Calypso Rose, La Brass Banda, Extra Golden, Los Destarados and some new fusion music from Gwybodaeth Amgen of North Wales, old favourites from the Preservation Hall Jazz band, Massive Attack, Nour, Cedric IM Brooks....and we have another eclectic mix.

I'm sure there's something I've forgotten...

Next week its a Cuba Special with Sue Miller our Cuban Music devotee and scholar. In time for the showroom's Cuba Day, I'll be asking Sue about the effect of the revolution on Cuba's musician community, for better or worse, playing tracks as we go.
