This concert has enjoyed exceptional success around the world over the past three years, casting a spell on audiences with the great voices of their people and virtuoso instrumentals.
The Legendary Gypsy Queens & Kings 2009 features Macedonian Gypsy Queen Esma Redzepova, Bulgarian Mahala rocker Jony Iliev, young Romanian singer and Taraf De Haidouks’ Nicolae Neacsus granddaughter Florentina Sandu, as well as acclaimed French rumba Gitano group Kaloome.
New to The Legendary Gypsy Queens & Kings 2009 is Romanian brass band Mahala Rai Banda who will be performing new material especially created for this tour. The show will also feature members of Fanfare Ciocarlia.
