Headlined by Malian superstar Oumou Sangare, and featuring Benin's Orchestre Poly-Rhythmo de Cotonou and Kalahari Surfers from South Africa; the sixth African Soul Rebels concert series brings together Africa 's most radical artists whose use of politics, feminism, attitude and mysticism have long given listeners cause to think. The concerts also mark the first ever full UK tour by both Oumou and Poly-Rhtyhmo.

This has been a great year for Oumou, beginning with the release of her critically acclaimed album 'Seya', followed by her first international tour in almost 5 years, which concluded with a triumphant homecoming stadium show in the Malian capital Bamako, and rounded off with a GRAMMY nomination for 'Seya' in the Best Contemporary World Music Album category.

Oumou is one of West Africa's most admired and outspoken artists, who always expresses herself with conviction and with a large dose of her irrepressible energy; "Her voice is captivating; even though I can't understand what she is saying, I understand what she's saying". Alicia Keys
