[event]

Date(s): 26th - 28th March 2010

Venue: Lake Naivasha

The Rift Valley Festival is an intimate gathering of local and international artists, combining traditional African roots and global styles. Whether you’re a seasoned festival veteran or a first-time explorer; Rift Valley will open your eyes to a whole new world of music, culture and experiences.

For three days the Rift Valley Music Festival, will be showcasing a diverse and exciting mix of musical artists and performers from Kenya and abroad. The aim is to make a real difference to the local community in Kenya by raising awareness and money to aid environmental improvement and community regeneration (and they thought they might as well create an amazing three-day festival for you whilst they were at it).

All of the profits from ticket sales will go directly to local Kenyan projects, so you can party and save the world at the same time!

The stunning location chosen for you is Lake Naivasha, less than 90km from the capital city, Nairobi. So, when you aren’t experiencing a whole other world of music, art and culture you can enjoy the breathtaking surroundings of acacia trees, mountains and volcanoes.
