Raaga Trio plays a subtle blend of jazz and traditional West-African music. The group was created in 2007 following a meeting of three musicians all from different backgrounds whilst rehearsing on another project. Jill Turner can't quite believe that after a 30 year career for the Mandingo singer from Burkina Faso, this is Victor Deme's first recording.
